yaar plz give whole detail about the concert n i hav heard keh is concert mein international bands bhi aaengay......kiya yeh bhi huaa thaa yaar....tell me about that as well keh kaun kaun say bands ayay thay......aur badri hi khushi ki baat hai keh aa nay woh concert attend kiyaa.....

Hiz Junoonis ! Wink

Well d concert was awsome ! Junoon rocked every single in d hall ! Cool

There was other two bandz from abroad, IKARUS from Germany and LUNATIC AGE from France. First of all IKARUS perform on stage, no douby that it is a 3rd class band.We thought dat these bandz are gr8, but they r noting in front of JUNOON.They also don't play live. The vocalist of both bandz fell down while singing. Laughing

Well they performed for 1 hour, then the Feanch band LUNATIC AGE cm on stage.They are a bot better that IKARUS but as i said nothing infront of JUNOON.The vocalist of this band said "ASLAM-O-ALIKUM" and "KYA HAL HAI APP KA" in urdu,at the end he said "KHUDA HAFIZ"n said that ur favourite band JUNOON is comming.This band also performed 1 hour.Then we hold our breadth........
Waiting is over.......
And we saw MEEKAL HASSAN on stage and then ALI AZMAT & SALMAN AHMAD with their guitars.

Junoon performed Lal Meri Path n all d ppl in d hall gona MaD.Then they hit Dosti n Salman Bhai Said that this is a song of Friebdship for the foreign band play tonight.Itz good for Pakistan that foreign bands come and play here.Then Yaat Bina, this song is simply awsome.Then Junoon play Sayonee n then Saaeen. While playing Pappu Yaar ALI Bhai show his back to audiance Smile

Then they Play Garaj Baras , Azadi , Jazba-e-Junoon.Then guess wat we saw, that the guitarist og IKARUS band is dancing infront of stage while listining to JUNOON Razz

Then they play one more song Mera Mahi n disappeared Confused

Well d concert was simply rocked.I can't took any picz n can't make vdo caz mobile phones are not allowed in the hall.So I also don't brought Video Cam with me.When we get out of the hall a Frenck lady n a guy is Selling the copy rite CD's of LUNATIC AGE Shocked

Todat is also another concert of JUNOON at F9 PARK ISLAMABAD.Letz c it.....! Twisted Evil

amazing concert......the Junooon Sound was way better coz they had a better sound system this time...and seriously, when Junoon came on stage......the crowd went wild......every single person was standing and going wild...the two previous bands had bored the crowd very much to be honest.....ppl were there just coz of Junoon .....there were french diplomats in my row too and even they were waiting for Junoon.....and they simply blew us all last nite......i saw the VVIp section...all the diplomats and their families were lossing control too....tariq amin was int he crowd tooo.....
n now the FUNNIEST THING happened in a JUNOON CONCERT!!!!
Ali was singing and all of a sudden....stage broke down and he went inside it....only his head and chest were on top....2 men went to bring him up....he was so embarassed and then he was really mad at the organizers..before going in the end , he said im gonna kill the perosn who made this stage and then Salman also fell and the stage broke under him...he went inside too......it was soo embarassing.... ali shook his booty to the crowd in pappu yaar...
All songs were performed really well.....and really had fun!

Junoon steal hearts of Islamabadites
Wednesday June 22, 2005 (0400 PST)

ISLAMABAD, June 23 (Online): Pakistan's most celebrated and famous pop group Junoon stole the hearts of hundreds of people in a music evening held in Liaqat gymnasium on Tuesday night.

Under the aegis of CDA and Alliance Francis, World Music Day Fair was held the other night in which Junoon led by vocalist Ali Azmat and his band stole the evening as they captured the hearts of thousands of fans, some who came from distant-places with their soft and hard tunes.

The people were enthralled with one of the best music after a long time in Federal Capital.

On the other hand, strict security measures were taken in view to avoid happening of any untoward incident during the music carnival.

SSP Islamabad Liaqat Ali Khan reviewed the security arrangements from time to time in view to make sure that no untoward incident occurs.

A large number of high officials including State Minister for Interior Dr Wasim Sajjad, Federal Minister for Sports, Culture and Tourism Muhammad Ajmal Khan, State Minister for Sports, Culture Muhammad Ali Durrani, French Ambassador to Pakistan, Vice Ambassador of Germany along with other foreign dignitaries were present to watch the musical gala.

While talking to Online, singer of French group Sabastian said that he was delighted to perform in Islamabad and appreciated the support of the crowd.

"This is the first occasion that our group is performing in Asia. We are delighted and thrilled to be in Pakistan", he added.

Meanwhile police stopped the entry of photographers for photo coverage of the musical night in Liaqat Gymnasium.

After hearing the incident, State Minister for Sports and Culture Muhammad Ali Durrani directed the police officials to let the photographers in the musical show with their cameras.

On the occasion, President Rawalpindi-Islamabad Photo Journalist Association (RIPJA) Sajjad Haider severely criticized the quarrelsome attitude of federal police for not allowing photographers to cover the event.

He demanded from Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao to take serious notice of the matter, probe an inquiry into the incident, and unveil the culprits.
