PRESIDENT AND THE ROCKSTAR:BILL CLINTON INVITES SALMAN AHMAD TO CGI PANEL.

Former US president Bill Clinton has invited Pakistani musician / U.N.AIDS Goodwill ambassador ,Salman Ahmad, to speak at the Clinton Global Initiative panel in New York on Thursday, September 21st. The event is the hottest ticket in New York and will be attended by Bill Gates,Laura Bush,Queen Rania of Jordan as well as other prominent personalities from around the world.Salman will make a presentation on the role of culture in building bridges between Islam and the west. Salman's music and award winning documentaries THE ROCKSTAR AND THE MULLAHS and IT'S MY COUNTRY TOO will also be on display for the three day event which looks to find solutions to the growing polarization between muslims and the west as well as other global issues.

Yea I saw that on Clinton's global initiative website and I was pleasantly shocked. There will be several honorable people there which includes

Predient Musharraf, Bill and Melinda Gates, Princess Rania, Kofi Annan and many many highly influential people.

NEW YORK, Sept 14: Former US president Bill Clinton has invited founder of the Junoon music band Salman Ahmad to speak at the Clinton Global Initiative panel here, which will also be addressed by President Pervez Musharraf.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates, US first lady Laura Bush, Queen Rania of Jordan, United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Virgin Airlines chief Sir Richard Branson, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and other prominent personalities will also attend the event, a press release issued here said.

According to reports Mr Ahmad will make a presentation on the role of culture in building bridges between Islam and the West.

His music and award-winning documentaries ‘The rockstar and the mullahs’ and ‘It’s my country too’ will also be on display for the three-day event.
