Junoon Wins Best Band Award @ IM First Music Awards!

It was an amazing feeling to be recognised by the industry and the fans.Ali and I were blown away by the applause that we got when we were announced (i had a tear in my eye since this alhamra hall was the first stage I'd ever played on in Pakistan,ali also did the bhangra while going up to the stage) apart from the people even the bands who were nominated came up to congratulate us.There was a real feeling of brotherhood last night and winning the award seemed like that all of the negativity of the past two years had been wiped away.

SO A COLLECTIVE THANKS GOES OUT TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED US THROUGH THICK AND THIN AND HERE'S A PROMISE THAT AFTER LAST NIGHT JUNOON WILL BLEED TO MAKE THE MUSIC THAT WE ARE TRULY CAPABLE OF.A SPECIAL THANKS TO MR.GHAZANFAR ALI OF INDUS WHO PUT A BEFITTING TRIBUTE TO PAKISTANI MUSIC WITH CLASS,STYLE AND A LOT OF HEART.

So? The awards are supposed to be aired today, thats why zero posted.

And munney, Junoon won, best band. Best = better than the rest. And besides, this IM award is just one of the many accomplishments Junoon amassed.

hi n salam all!
just switched off the tv after the awards...tht was damn good!
salman was looking too good esp when he sorta cries at the time of award.. he was lookin too cute at tht time..
ali ..uff attitude ..bharam to tabah hain us k..i like the part when he danced when the award was announced.. looks nice!
gr8 honour to see junoon presenting award to Sabir Z..who hav served alot!
nice performance too..garaj baras...
enjoyed watching the event alot!

just saw the awards salman was in trouble yaar cause hsi guitar strape was not fixed...yaar i couldn't watch all of the awards cause i went to mela just watched last 1 hour...

Yea it was really awesome when she screamed for JUNOON OMG what a moment, this is what JUNOON deserve for their untiring effort from last 15 years and they got the reward. Ali's saying was superb that they didnt even dreamt of this 15 years back and this award is for all upcoming bands who have hype in their minds to get a status like JUnooN.
